vindecode.pro is a free tool for decoding Vehicle Identification Numbers and chassis numbers, together with guides about reading them. It is provided by And Gate Tech Solutions. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

Information only

Decoded results come from public standards, manufacturer conventions and the NHTSA vPIC database. They describe how a vehicle was built, not its current condition, registration, ownership or history. Results can be incomplete or wrong, especially for rare or non-standard VINs.

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Always confirm important details with the vehicle's documents, the manufacturer, or official services such as VAHAN, before buying, selling or insuring a vehicle.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, bulk-query or automate requests to the site or its API;
• try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service;
• use the site for any unlawful purpose.

We may limit or block access that breaks these rules.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text, code and brand belong to And Gate Tech Solutions. Vehicle makers' names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify vehicles.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the site or its results.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use after that means you accept the updated terms.
